Cool metal roofing offers energy savings significant to both economical and environmental standpoints. ABC's metal roofs are energy efficient, sustainable, recyclable, durable, lightweight and cost effective. Our panels are made from 25-35 percent recycled materials and are 100 percent recyclable products. As a proud Energy Star Partner, many of our Cool Roof colors have reflectivity performance levels that meet Energy Star criteria at 2:12 pitch or greater offering considerable energy savings.
ABC continually works with its paint supplier to ensure proper compliance along with continued advancement in cool roof technologies. Meeting Energy Star's approval for steep roof slopes greater than 2:12, ABC offers 18 colors in 29 ga. product, which have successfully completed the 3-year testing period. All can be made available in any ABC panel profile offered. LEED¨ relies on SRI standards, a calculation involving both emissivity and reflectivity, to determine which meet LEED¨ cool roof standards.
ABC is designated as an Energy Star Partner and can provide building owners and homeowners painted metal roof and wall panels that meet the stringent Energy Star requirements for Solar Reflectivity.
